About
Thirty years of making packaging that has to be right.
APD is a specialist, not a catalogue. We make bespoke short-run packaging for businesses where the presentation is part of what is being sold.

Where we sit
There are large packaging suppliers with vast catalogues, and there are branding agencies who design packaging they cannot produce. APD sits deliberately between the two: a manufacturer with a design studio, working at quantities most factories will not touch.
That means a boutique can order three hundred bags rather than five thousand. It means a hotel can run a seasonal variant without committing to a year of stock. And it means the person who advises you on the specification is the same person who checks the colour on press.
We have been doing this for over -25 years, for hotels, spas, jewellers, beauty brands and independent retailers in Ireland and, increasingly, in the UK, mainland Europe and the United States.
Specialist, not general
Rope and silk handle carrier bags are the core of what we do, and have been for three decades.
Short runs by design
Our production is set up for hundreds, not tens of thousands. That is a deliberate choice.
Design in-house
Structure, artwork and finish developed alongside the people who will manufacture it.
One point of contact
The same person from first conversation to delivery note. No account handover.
How we talk about packaging
Packaging carries an unhelpful amount of jargon. GSM, lamination, debossing, spot UV, greyboard — none of it means anything to a hotel manager trying to buy a good bag.
So we explain in plain terms what each choice does, what it costs and what it trades away. If a finish is not worth the money on your project, we will say so. Our print and finishing guide covers the vocabulary in full.
Brand assets are being finalised — logos and photography supplied by the client will replace the placeholder wordmark and imagery throughout the site.
Tell us what goes in the bag.
Send the brief — or the vaguest version of it — and we will come back with a specification, a cost and an honest lead time.
